At Words We Write, I value honesty, clarity, and respect in all interactions. Because our offerings are digital and community-based, I want to ensure expectations are clear before purchase. Please take a moment to review the policy below.
Digital Content (eBooks & Downloads)
All eBooks, PDFs, and other digital content are non-refundable once purchased. This is standard across digital publishing, as files cannot be returned once downloaded.
Online Events

Refunds are available for non-member event purchases if cancellation is requested at least 24 hours in advance.

For cancellations made less than 24 hours before an event, refunds are not guaranteed. At my discretion, I may offer credit toward a future event.
Memberships
Monthly Memberships

Can be cancelled within 7 days of purchase for a full refund.

After 7 days, you may cancel anytime through your account settings to avoid future billing.
Annual Memberships

Can be cancelled within 14 days of purchase for a refund.

Please note: the full value of any included digital content (e.g., eBooks) will be deducted from your refund. This amount may vary depending on promotions active at the time of your subscription.

After 14 days, you may cancel anytime to prevent renewal, but refunds will not be issued.
Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be issued to your original payment method.

Please allow 7–10 business days for your financial institution to post the refund.

If you do not see the refund after this time, please contact me directly at annie.marie@wordswewrite.org. I will be happy to follow up with our payment provider (Stripe) to help resolve any delays.

I want every member, reader, and participant to feel respected and supported. While some boundaries are necessary to keep things fair and sustainable, I will always approach refund and cancellation requests with understanding and a willingness to work toward a solution.
